Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in building construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Design: * Develop detailed designs, plans, and schedules for building construction projects. * Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Civil 3D for project planning and design. * Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments. * Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and project plans. * Construction Oversight: * Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to designs, plans, and specifications. * Manage project timelines and ensure milestones are met. * Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. * Coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and other engineers. * Project Management: * Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring projects are cost-effective. * Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. * Resolve any issues or delays in the project timeline. * Ensure quality control and assurance standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. * Technical Support and Documentation: * Provide technical advice and support to other team members. * Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, reports, and logs. * Ensure all regulatory and legal requirements are met. * Client and Stakeholder Communication: * Liaise with Architects, and RCC consultant to understand requirements and provide regular project updates. * Attend and lead project meetings, providing detailed progress reports.
Qualifications:
* Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building construction. * Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, BIM and other relevant engineering software. * Knowledge:
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. * Skills:
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
