Salary: $125,000 – $140,000 Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid/Remote) Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the product quality program for our U.S. operations. Essential Job Functions And Desired Accomplishments
* Lead and own the product quality assurance program to ensure alignment with technical and business goals * Investigate and triage image quality anomalies, maintaining thorough documentation for resolution tracking * Perform root cause analysis and assess the business impact of image quality issues * Partner with Engineering and Customer Operations to develop and refine quality-focused initiatives * Define and communicate priorities based on the business impact of quality concerns * Provide technical support and training to internal teams on QA tools and practices * Ensure consistent and accurate execution of quality control procedures * Maintain clear and organized documentation of QA workflows and technical solutions * Promote a culture of continuous improvement across engineering, operations, and support teams * Stay current with new software tools and technologies relevant to quality assurance
Education/Qualifications/Certifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems (GIS), an engineering discipline, a related field, or equivalent experience year quality assurance and/or validation experience
* Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly dynamic environment * Basic proficiency with common GIS software (e.g., QGIS, SCOET GXP, etc.) * Understanding of image quality analysis and metrics * Experience with scripting languages, including Python and Bash
Desired:
* Knowledge of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging and processing * Experience with SAR image quality analysis or exploitation * Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 or EC2 * Experience using Git or similar version control systems * Active TS/SCI clearance or strong interest in pursuing one
