Job Title: Lab Support Engineer Location: Boston, MA (Onsite) Contract
Job Summary: We are seeking a Lab Support Engineer to provide onsite IT and desktop support within a pharmaceutical/life sciences lab environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting lab users, scientific applications, and regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide desktop and IT support to lab and business users
Support lab systems, instruments, and scientific applications
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues
Manage Windows OS, device imaging, patching, and upgrades
Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for issue resolution
Support compliance in regulated (GxP) environments
Maintain documentation and asset tracking
Required Skills:
3–6+ years of IT/Desktop Support experience
Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, O365
Experience supporting lab equipment and scientific software
Familiarity with GxP/FDA regulated environments preferred
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
